Early "airliner", introduced in 1930. Six passengers were stowed in the fuselage whilst the pilot sat out in the open. It was later used as a fast express cargo plane, when two engine planes dominated air transport. Wingspan 41 ft, length 28 ft, height 9 ft, max weight 2660 lb, top speed 170 mph. Powered by one Pratt & Whitney Wasp of 420 hp. |
